We made a dinner from Peru last night (more about that later). When M was making the Peruvian flag, we learned that Peru's Independence Day is July 28. With the US's on July 4 and France's on July 14, we wondered "Is July Independence Month?" We looked on Wikipedia (I love Wikipedia) and found a table of Independence Days. We used the data in that table to make a chart (M likes charts) of Number of Independence Days vs Month. We thought you might like to see the chart, too.

i use gnumeric for making charts and a few other things, but mom used open office. someday i will, too! turns out, august and september have 21 and july has 19.
For the number crunchers out there, the mean number of Independence Days in a month is 12 and the median is 11.
